Police say that at around 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday morning, officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to M&T Bank on Brandermill Boulevard in Gambrills, where there was a reported robbery.
Officers determined that an unknown man walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money, to which the employee complied, allowing the robber to walk away with an unknown amount of cash.
Officials made note that no weapon was displayed during the robbery, though it is unclear what was written on the note.
Officers canvassed the area during the investigation, but did not find the man.
Now investigators are attempting to locate their suspect.
The suspect was described as being a Black man with a heavy build, black and gray beard. He was wearing a black hoodie, white face mask, dark hat, sunglasses and gloves at the time of the robbery.
